新零售一词最早是出现在于马云于2016年的云栖大会上说的一句话:“纯商业时代很快会结束,未来十年,二十年,没有电子商务的说法,只有新零售这一说!”新零售这个概念被提出以后,引起了轩然大波,现在大家也都对新零售有所接触,但是更多的人还是一脸茫然,新零售,是什么?有大佬说道:新零售,就是以消费者体验为中心的数据驱动的泛零售形态,依托大数据技术,使得零售商获得大量用户的精准数据,驱动“人”、“货”、“场”三者关系的重构。大家一听,原来如此,虽然不明白你在说什么,但是一看就很厉害的样子,但是最后还是半懂不懂的样子。其实马云在2016年的云栖大会上还有后半句话,解答了新零售是什么的问题:线上线下和物流必须结合在一起,才能诞生真正的新零售。线下的企业必须走到线上去,线上的企业必须走到线下来,线上线下加上现代的物流结合在一起,才能真正创造出新的零售起来。这句话的理解难度就要低多了,线上线下结合销售,再配合现代物流,才能产生新零售。我们在京东、淘宝等网络购物平台购物,这个就是线上销售,而我们去沃尔玛、家乐福之类的商城购物,这个就是线下销售。而这两者结合销售,就是所谓新零售。以沃尔玛为例,沃尔玛作为世界性的连锁企业,以营业额计算的话,也是全球最大的公司,他主要涉足于零售业,但是长期以来,对沃尔玛产生巨大威胁的企业,不是家乐福,不是好市多。而是我们所熟知的互联网公司——亚马逊,电子商务对沃尔玛产生了巨大的冲击。而沃尔玛也开始布局线上购物领域,以沃尔玛中国为例,沃尔玛在京东上线了沃尔玛旗舰店,山姆会员店等等,同时沃尔玛战略投资达达-京东到家,构建同城配送物流,实现了线上线下+现代物流的体系,正是新零售的未来形态。在过去的很长一段时间当中,大家都认为电子商务会是未来的趋势,线下实体店将会死亡。但是近些年,电子商务的发展形势趋近平缓,已经到了瓶颈期,线上购物终究还是缺少了一分线下购物的体验感。电商巨头纷纷转战线下,而实体行业也都开始触网,这似乎就是马云所说的新零售的雏形了。从马云提出新零售到现在,已经三年过去了,阿里巴巴也不再提电子商务,而是在打造一个全生态系统,电商与实体相结合,形成了一个闭环,线上与线下不是互相替代的关系,而是互补的一体。所以这个模式是不是新零售模式可以做相关对照。
