1987年7月毕业于南开大学数学系数理统计专业，学士学位；1999年5月，毕业于印度孟买国际人口学院（International Institute for Population Science , IIPS），硕士学位；2008年在西安交通大学经济与金融学院攻读经济学博士学位。1999年12月被聘为副教授，2004年12月，被聘为教授。曾任原西安统计学院应用统计系副主任、金融学系副主任，西安财经学院教务处副处长，《统计与信息论坛》编辑部主任，2006年11月，任西安财经学院期刊管理中心主任，《统计与信息论坛》执行主编。
