期刊的缩写是有惯例的，如，名字只有一个单词的期刊不缩写。像Nature，Science，Cell，Small，Nanotechnology，这种一个词的期刊引用时候都要写全称。在多个单词的期刊里，单词如何缩写也是都有相应标准的。像 Journal这个词缩写成J，Science这个词缩写成S，Chemistry缩写成C，Material缩写成M等等（注意缩写要有“点”的哟）。　　按照这个惯例，则自然子刊的第一个词Nature是可以缩写成N的，因为符合缩写习惯。我特意上了Nature官网，挨个看了这些期刊的缩写规定。发现这个问题比我想象的要复杂。　　现归类如下：　　Nature子刊里面Nature一词不缩写的：（来源：Nature 出版社官网）　　Nature Climate Change，缩写为Nature C Change　　Nature Chemistry，缩写为Nature C　　Nature Geoscience，缩写为Nature G　　Nature Materials，缩写为Nature M　　Nature Nanotechnology，缩写为 Nature N　　Nature Photonics，缩写为Nature P　　Nature Physics，缩写为Nature P　　Nature子刊里面Nature缩写为N的：（来源：Nature 出版社官网）　　Nature Biotechnology，缩写为N B　　Nature Cell Biology，缩写为N C B　　Nature Chemical Biology，缩写为N C B　　Nature Communications，缩写为N C　　Nature Genetics，缩写为N G　　Nature Immunology，缩写为N I　　Nature Medicine，缩写为N M　　Nature Methods，缩写为N Methods　　Nature Neuroscience，缩写为N N　　Nature Plants，缩写为N Plants　　Nature Protocols，缩写为N P　　Nature Structural & Molecular Biology ，缩写为N S M B　　Nature Review Journals 没有在网站上强调其缩写，应该都缩写成 N R XXX　　总结一下大体上规律是这样的：Nature子刊里面内容覆盖某一个一级学科的（如：化学、物理学、材料学，地学等），缩写用Nature XXX，其余缩写为N XXX。　　（这个规律是我猜的，也有可能是主编们的个人喜好，欢迎指正）
