影响因子并非一个最客观的评价期刊影响力的标准。一般来说影响因子高,期刊的影响力也就相对越大。当然谁又能说被引用得越多,就越准确呢。当然影响力大能够体现他内部的审核标准高,要不然也不会得到这么多信任,所以只能说是一个重要标准,但是不是绝对。

这要看你们学校怎么样了,差一点的学校SCI能不能发表都是个问题,有的学校高IF的一年有几十篇。 SCI一般是收录理工科的较多,我是学化学的,以化学为例,化学的论文明显要比物理什么的好发,IF小于3的就很一般,5左右的算是你那个小专业优秀的杂志了,10左右就是你整个一级学科十分优秀的杂志,10以上的一般都是综述类杂志,一般为约稿,很难投,20以上的cell,science,nature什么的大多为跨学科的,全国每年都没多少。我们学院硕士生毕业是要求有一篇3以上的才能毕业,硕博连读是3篇,也就是说其实3以上就算不错了。因为化学是个大门类,一般二级学科的专门杂志IF都不会太高,最好的也就是5左右,比如有机里面的JOC也就是3点多。影响因子不是越高就说明杂志越好,美国化学会的JACS也就是在8,比ANGEW10点多要少不少,但是其公认要比angew难接收,只是在评奖的时候遇到些外行的评委可能会吃亏,因为他们可能会注重IF。 具体还是要看你们学校的科研水平了,如果要稳拿奖项,即使你们是牛校,能发表到JACS等级的也就可以了,因为全国一年也就几十篇。

有,期刊看的人越多影响因子就越高,所以如果是冷门专业的期刊即使水平很高但看的人少影响因子也不会太高,但热门专业(比如生物)水平差一些的期刊由于看的人多影响因子可能会很高。
