ICRA 全称为 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation(机器人与自动化会议),是机器人技术领域最有影响力的国际学术会议之一,也是 IEEE Robotics and Automation Society 的标杆性会议。ICRA 以开展国际前沿的研讨会而闻名学术圈,凝聚了全球无数机器人领域的研究者前来参与。第十届智能机器人与应用国际会议(ICIRA 2017)在武汉东湖国际会议中心拉开帷幕。本届会议由中国科学院院士熊有伦担任名誉主席,华中科技大学机械科学与工程学院院长、中国科学院院士丁汉担任大会主席,国家自然科学基金委员会和华中科技大学联合主办。来自美国斯坦福大学、瑞士洛桑联邦理工学院、德国汉堡大学、新加坡国立大学、香港大学、北京大学、清华大学、中国科学院等国内外著名大学和研究机构的近60位专家和240位机器人领域的权威学者和工程师,将围绕虚拟现实与人工智能、工业机器人与机器人加工、仿生机器人、水下机器人、人机交互等14个专业方向,开展48个分论坛。IROS, 全称为IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems,即智能机器人与系统国际学术会议,是机器人领域全球规模最大、最具影响力的学术会议之一。IROS创办于1988年,每年举办一届,今年正值第30届。IROS 2017于9月24日至28日在加拿大温哥华举办,来自全球各地近3000名机器人领域的专家和学者参加了本次会议。总的来看,应该就是IROS会议级别更高。

IROS属于机器人领域的顶级国际会议,除了聚焦最新研究成果,还会举办机器人比赛。IROS属于国际上机器人智能系统领域最著名、影响力最大顶级会议,享誉盛名的IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers,美国电气与电子工程协会)和日本机器人联合会联合主办。会议每年会收到约两千多篇论文投稿,每年来自世界各个顶尖机器人研究机构的专家和业界人士汇聚在这个盛会,探讨和展示机器人行业最前沿的技术。IROS会议的介绍:IROS带来实验室内的进展,近年来,每届国际机器人与系统大会都专门设有工业展览部分,供机器人行业的企业展示最新产品,国际机器人行业的知名企业ABB、KUKA等都曾以赞助商的名义参展过IROS大会。参会人员一次性看到全世界自动化和机器人领域的应用状况。值得注意的是,每年的这个大会上,都会同时展现最前沿的机器人技术,结合今年工业机器人在国内的大热,相关的机器人抓取和操作竞赛便是这几年的热点之一。
